Indies First Storytime Day

Join us for a story time party Saturday, May 17th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Northtown Books.
Carolyn Lehman and other community members will read from their favorite children's books.
There will be cookies, refreshments and a drawing.
A portion of the proceeds from sales will benefit the Arcata Library.

Hours and ordering information

We are open for in-store browsing 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.

Mask required for entry, no exceptions.

There will be limits to the number of people allowed in the store in order to maintain six feet of physical distance between customers and staff.

You may choose to pick up a book at the store, have it shipped to you, or to the person of your choice.

Gift certificates are also available.

We take phone calls 12 to 6 every day of the week. We have an answering machine for after hours calls but if you're placing an order it's best to speak to someone or send the order in an email.

There may be occasional delays, but we will let you know the status of your order as soon as possible.

The website is not necessarily a reflection of what we have in the store. It does show everything we can get for you. We'll send an email or call to let you know when your order is ready.
